Our Partners
In addition to singular community events, Vesper is also home to a small number of local non-profits who utilize the space on a regular basis. Your support of Vesper means support for these organizations, just as your support of these organizations is support for our venue.
Inside Books Project
Inside Books Project is an Austin-based community service volunteer organization that sends free books and educational materials to prisoners in Texas. Inside Books is the only books-to-prisoners program in Texas, where over 140,000 people are incarcerated. Inside Books Project works to promote reading, literacy, and education among incarcerated individuals and to educate the general public on issues of incarceration.
Keep Austin Fed
1 in 7 people in Austin do not know where their next meal is coming from. 1 in 3 of them are children. Over 30% of food in the U.S. goes uneaten, mostly going to landfills where it generates environmentally harmful methane gas. Keep Austin Fed is a champion for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. KAF serves our community through the redistribution of wholesome, nutritious food and maintains a food salvage cooler on-site at Vesper.
